Senior iOS engineer

What we're looking for

Keakie is looking for an experienced iOS Developer to join the team responsible for building out our listener-facing apps and experiences. This is a great opportunity to join us to create ground-breaking technology for our range of artistic and creative clients.

What you’ll do

  • Take responsibility for improving and maintaining the consumer facing iOS app
  • Ensure a high standard of iOS app performance, from a quality and responsiveness perspective
  • Collaborating with the team to define, design and ship new features
  • Help maintain the quality, organisation and automatisation of code
  • Ensuring quick responses to fix bugs
  • Responsible for managing a long term move towards iPad support.
  • Contributing to the product release schedule
  • Working day-to-day on refining the consistency, performance and use-cases of UI

What you’ll need

  • Experience working with REST APIs
  • Ability to develop and implement a push notification strategy for audience engagement
  • Experience with key iOS frameworks
  • Experience working with external OAuth providers (Facebook, Apple)
  • 5 years+ experience with Swift
  • Experience with Audio playback, particularly HLS will be useful but is not essential
  • You are passionate and knowledgeable about delivering end-to-end experiences and software architecture
  • You have experience with modern web technologies, coding, testing, debugging, and automation techniques

  • Built using Swift
  • Uses proprietary REST API
  • Audio streaming uses HLS
  • Authentication uses internal API using JWT, Facebook API and Sign in With Apple
  • Working from Sketch/Invision/Figma mockups

Salary: £70,000 - £80,000
